“Where Stability Becomes Legacy”
Growing up in the Bronx during the 80s, I was surrounded by a strong sense of community. Neighbors looked out for one another, and there was a shared understanding that we were all in this together. However, as time went on, I noticed a shift. The sense of community began to fade, and assistance for those in need became increasingly scarce. This change deeply affected me, and I couldn't shake the feeling that something needed to be done to restore that sense of support and belonging. The basic need for a safe place to lay your head at night should never be out of reach for anyone. Yet, I saw too many veterans, working adults, and young people aging out of foster care struggling to find stable housing. This realization ignited a passion within me to make a difference. I wanted to create a space where individuals could find not just a roof over their heads, but also a community that supports and uplifts them. This vision led to the birth of My Legacy Group, Inc.
